The label
Everything On The Label
Twenty-three ingredients go into a dropper. Eight of them are documented here one page at a time, and the blend they sit in is explained before any of them.
The Blend Comes First
Before any individual ingredient, one structural fact governs this entire label. Chromium picolinate is declared with its own amount. The other twenty-two ingredients share a single 200 mg proprietary blend.
What that means arithmetically. Two hundred milligrams divided across twenty-two items averages roughly nine milligrams each. The law requires descending order by weight, so the first few carry more and the last few carry considerably less — but nobody outside the manufacturer knows the split. Most of the human research behind these botanicals used single-ingredient doses in the hundreds of milligrams. That gap is the honest headline of this page.
One ingredient escapes the problem. Gymnema works on contact with the tongue rather than through systemic concentration, so its effect does not depend on a generous blend share. That is also, not coincidentally, the effect this product is most often sold on.
The Eight This Site Documents
Each page carries an evidence grade at the top, and three of the eight say the honest answer is 'not strong'.
Chromium Picolinate
Best established on this label
The single active on this bottle printed with an amount of its own.
Gymnema Sylvestre
The one effect you can verify yourself
The leaf that temporarily dulls sweet taste, and the one effect you can verify yourself.
Coleus Forskohlii
Plausible mechanism, unsettled evidence
A root studied for a cell signal called cAMP. Interesting, and not settled.
Green Tea Extract
Well studied, at doses larger than this
Catechins plus caffeine, and the first of two caffeine sources here.
Guarana Seed
Straightforward, and worth counting
The second caffeine source in one blend, which is worth adding up.
Panax Ginseng
The strongest glucose research of the botanicals here
The herb on this label with the most glucose research behind it.
Licorice Extract
The clearest safety limit on this label
The one ingredient here with a firm ceiling. Read this page before you double a dose.
Amino Acid Complex
Real ingredients, unresearchable amounts
Eight aminos sharing one small blend, and a realistic account of what that can do.
How To Read Any Supplement Label
Four habits that work on any bottle in any shop, including this one.
Read the serving size before anything else. Impressive figures spread across four capsules describe a different product from the same figures in one dropper.
Look for a number beside every name. Where a group shares one combined figure, you have been told a total and nothing else.
Check where your reason for buying sits in the order. Blend ingredients are listed heaviest first. If the name that sold you the bottle is near the end of the list, that is information.
Read the other-ingredients line. Carriers, preservatives and allergens live there, and it is the part everybody skips.
What The Bottle Declares
| Item | Declared as |
|---|---|
| Chromium (as chromium picolinate) | Its own printed amount |
| Proprietary botanical and amino blend | 200 mg combined |
| Ingredients inside that blend | 22 |
| Total declared ingredients | 23 |
| Bottle size | 2 fl oz / 60 ml |
| Servings per bottle | 30, at one dropper a day |
The panel printed on the bottle you receive is always the authority over any figure published on this website.
About The Label
Why only eight pages when there are twenty-three ingredients?
These eight are the ones named prominently enough to be worth documenting. The remaining fifteen sit further down the same blend at correspondingly smaller amounts, and there is little honest to say about a milligram of anything.
Which ingredient has the strongest evidence?
Chromium for the insulin claim and gymnema for the taste effect, for very different reasons. Ginseng has the largest body of glucose research among the botanicals and the results are inconsistent.
Is a proprietary blend a bad sign?
Not automatically. It means you cannot verify what you are getting or add it to your other supplements, which is a reason for caution rather than a verdict.
Where can I see the exact amounts?
Only chromium and the 200 mg blend total are published. The individual split inside the blend is not disclosed by the manufacturer and this site will not invent it.
